Ok i have an 806mb AVI file here, how can i turn it inot approximately 2 parts 403mb each, dont say avichop because that doesnt create 2 files it merely cuts off the rest of the movie to a certain quota of mb that u specified. Help would be appreciated.

use the in/out points button.
you'll need to rip the first half into a seperate avi and then the second half.

virtualdub. set it to "direct stream copy" under the video menu. use the home and end buttons to set selection, then hit delete to crop.

Copy it into two, then use AVI chop to cut a half off each.

Logic.

ezsplit does a VERY nice job, but it costs money.
