This has probably been asked a million times before but how long after going over the quota does it take for your speed to be capped?

i think im going to go over the 3Gb limit for the first time since im sitting at 2,983 atm :)

Hey, can you tell how much you download per day? Like the old days

nah, theres no averages. You basically get a meter that shows you how much you've downloaded to that exact point in time and it updates very frequently, like every 30secs to 1minute.

well ive hit 3Gb but haven't been capped yet, thats the one thing about reinstalling windows... wise to download and install the latest versions of drivers, programs etc. I suspect i'll get an auto generated email from optus soon telling me my connection has just gone back 10yrs :)

once it was brought in, a friend said he was able to go a few days over the 3 gig, but now he's luckey enough to last a few mins. sitting on 2998 meg then proceeding to download some files at 500k a sec, he downloaded 26 meg before the 28k cap kicked in.

teq must of put a html command before the < strike > to tell it not to do other html scripts right?
