That stupid f***ING add has cost me 200 buks. I have my computer hooked up to my stereo which has 70 wat speakers.. I had just been playing BF1942 when i went into your site.. and that add came up about UT... The Volume blew the base woofers inside out. and now my speakers r f***ED... thanx .. f***ing hell. Y would you guys need a add like that here anyway ffs, all it does it scare the s*** outta people and piss them off.. geez guys.. get a f***ing life...

I dont see how the advertisment could of been any louder than the level that you were playing BF at. AusGamers have little control over the ad rotation on the respective sites - they are delivered based on site demographics through a third party organisation - Sensis.

anyway read the post correctly he said he hooked it up to stereo/hi fi or whatever. If the add made the speakers screw up then they would have been old already anyway, because speakers are made so you can actually use them on high volumes. if the speakers were so high up in bf1942 then the neighbours would have thought it was a war with all the bombs dropping. The ad wouldnt make too much of a difference. Also part the reason the speakers wouldve stuffed up is because they were for a stereo and would not have been designed to utilize bass/treble at such high frequencies therefore it is the fault of the user because they were used in a situation that was not designed for the speakers in question. There!

Dude, thats gotta suck, but what gets me is, how did you have the speakers up that loud with BF1942 and that add blew them up?? BF1942 has bigger sounds like that!!!

probably because those abrasive flash ads pump out the low quality sound at super loud volumes... they go one step further than just an annoying ad that takes up your whole screen and makes annoying noises, it has to be way too loud noises (still annoying of course, but more so infuriating)

I hate everything, Telstra mostly, but ads are another thing! I have my computer hooked up thru my 105watts RMS stereo, and luckily I haven't seen that crappy ad cos I post where I am supposed to - in SAGamers. Ads, expecially the ones that scroll across ur screen reallly f*** ME OFF!
