I have confirmed the date for my next lan. It will be Saturday the 19th of May. The hall is booked and all ready to roll. Power is fixed, netowrk is still swoit thanx to QGL and there will be plenty of tables and also a BBQ at the school.

does any body have any idea on how to make my lan difference from others. ie a different type of comp or a different type of layout for chairs and tables.

there will be a grill at the next one. the school is having a big function :P so there will be a fund raiser bbq at 7pm there, and also geno, i can get the hall for almost nothing that is y i have them there. the school allows me to use it for all the profits that go into my name at the school so i can build up equipt and run them regularly, ie once a month like i am trying to do atm

Campt0, I'll be working so I won't be able to make it - I'm limiting myself to a monthly LAN event so I don't take too much time off work. I'll be at the ANZAC comp as well as the next QGL. Hope to see you all there and we know that SAS will lose to an even stronger mP. pfft, sif we didn't beat SAS, DG and pantheon...Australia holds no competition for us :P

He and I played 3 rounds vs L&C as CT on assault, and we lost 2-1, mind you, we were using TMPs.

I don't think I'll focus on 2-0-2, I don't really see the fun in it.

Yeah, but you also have to play differently with 1 on 1 or 12 on 12. I also find knife arena to be gay for similiar reasons :)

I'm counting down every second till the ANZAC comp, I can't wait to get to play CS again seeing as CPLP was the last time I played and that was just gay. I also can't wait to war this NZ clan and see if we learn anything.

ya same here deeps i like both forms of cometition 5/6 and 2 on 2 coz with 2 on 2 u can work with 1 frind communication is easy if u r good friends and play alot together, and also we r undefeated. but 5 on 5 or 6/6 is also good coz u have ot develop unbreakable tatics for the game and also have realy good communication for different spots.

I like having 5 guys under me and managing to run a successful team. Developing strategies on paper and having them work is a truly great feeling of accomplishment.

So far the only strategy I've developed that hasn't worked was one of the ones for CT on de_aztec I devised. That makes me feel good...

They have nothing else to do in NZ but play CS :P

Do they have broadband over there? I know they have access to the Southern Cross line, but does their telecom or other company provide BB?

Regarding ANZAC - Its gonna rock - It's my clan's first real lan together plus I'm a radioactive rep as well so I get in free. Swiat :)

We're staying at the GCIH as well, and this is my first gameserve lan. I normally reserve myself for QGL events only, 'cause they're the best QLD has to offer - but we thought we'd come down just to piss FJ off ;-)
