Ok this is a rant thread about something has annoyed me/pissed me off for some time now - people who play games as though they were a member of the opposite sex. Now I'm not just talking about using different avatars, no, I'm talking about using girly names and acting like a female in their chat. What I would really like to know is: Why?! I don't understand why someone who doesn't have a gender identity problem would want to act like a girl in-game. Any ideas on why people do this?

Just to be controversial. I personally know someone who does it regularly. Although I must also state that ths person is an absolute d*******!!!
