I still remember the last trial - something went wrong & they lost the rocket in the middle of Australia...

They used the military to help locate it - did they eventually find it???

I picked up the uni mag while waiting for a lecture to kick-off & read all about it...

The guy in charge of the hyshot project is a brilliant man, but like most genii (if that is the correct plural form) is quite eccentric. I had him for a project coordinator last year and all he does is confuse students with technical jargon. Just as well he wasn't there much coz of the hyshot and we got a hot chick tutor replacement!!!

Bossman: yeah, they found it a few weeks later. Obviously got enough info from it to make this one work.

Can I get an `Aussie Aussie Aussie'?

they actually took 6 months to locate it, and with the help of kangaroo spotters working form a copter :)

during the time they were searching the military turned up zip, but they found a foreign launched object too... interesting

but yeah, dr allen paul is a legend, he speaks every year at the space forum and he is as much a support of us as we are of him :) it was really cool listening to his scram jet talks, and its really awesome to finally k-own nasa and the japanese at their own game ;)
