What do you think would be better, 1.2ghz athlon 266mhz bus with 128mb ddr ram or 1.2ghz athlon with 256 mb pc133 ram?

im, 1,2 ght with a 266 mhz FSB ith 256 meg ram

check out some hardware sites like tomshardware.com
or sharkyextreme for reviews on the benifets i am sure they have benchmarks there compared to standard sdram
if ya got the cash hell go for it i would :)
hmm still 256mb of ram will allways come in handy if ya use ya pc for Apps esp photoshop and s***
but for gamming 128megs is fine atm.

You must run the worst resolutions if you think 128 is fine for games :P

I dont know why but I like playing games at lower res for some reason. 800 x 600 is usually the most I put it up too.

If you use too high of a res does it make you long sighted?

still i dident see any diffrence with 128 to 256 in most games , i dont understand what you mean by s*** res's?
i mean whats the main pc ram gota do with on board video ram bar agp texturing?
and 800x600 with fsaa is the main res i play on :)

i do that with my 2x 12mbvoodoo's

my p1-200mmx with 192mb pc 100 ram, does 85fps in q2, and my cel-300a-3750450 does 92 in 1024x768 with the help of my 256 of pc 133 phowar!

i cant wait till i get my sony burner :D 12x writing fun.

Yeah Zoix i'm selling my two 6x burners and using the proceeds to buy a Ricoh 12x10x32x with Burnproof. Now I can play games and do whatever while burning without having to worry about the chance of burning a coaster :)
