Anyone else using ADSL?
It's seriously pissing me off
whenever I try and join a game, I get "retry" after retry, then it drops me. Same when I'm trying to use Server Query - I get a decent ping from DOS (avg 50 - 60) and from SQbut it becomes unreachable in about oh, say 20 seconds - whatthe?

My brother is getting bigpond adsl on 2 weeks on gold coast.

Yeah i got ADSL, it's pretty good... it will be even better when the brisbane server is up :) Watch out cable slutz! :)

My ADSL is OK. Agree with Aussie fella tho - will be better when it routes thru Brisbane instead of Melbourne. I get better pings from the paradise servers in New Zealand for CS than Brisbane based ones.
Cable still owns at the monent tho. :-(

Aussie: It will still b capped so my optus cable will still rape j00.

I got DSL last friday , been great.. no lag... good pings and all... I reccomend you re-install half-life fully and try it again.

That's just under 200K/sec cap. I download from the US with optus at about 300K/sec usually so STFU! :P
