is b&w multi? i think tribes2 for me anyway.

Black and White does have multiplayer.

You can play against the computer in a skirmish game, hop on the net and play against someone in a battle type scenario. You can also have 2 gods VS each other but have 8 people playing, 4 people on one side as one god, and 4 people on the other side as another god.

Sounds like fun, I just hope it works out okay. I'm buying it mainly for the single player anyway.

If Tribes 2 has the same copy protection as the first one , 1 copy should do the entire world :)

One copy DID do for the entire world. Dynamix said that only 1 in 15 ppl playing online had paid for it. I just rang Metro Soft in the city, they said this afternoon or tomorrow for B&W. We'll see.

Why would we get the game before the US? The US "street date" is the 30th, so I doubt we will see it before then. So Friday sounds like a reasonable date.

While it seems some very fortunate bunnies will be getting B&W tomorrow (please, stop sending your tracking information already!), New Zealanders, and I'm guessing Aussies too will have to wait. Taken from Gameplanet.co.nz, they received this message:
Due to manufacturing issues relating to the packaging of Black and White we are unable to release as expected on Friday the 30th of March. New artwork is required from Lionhead Studios before any product can be shipped. The new release date is expected to be the 6th of April 2001. This date will be confirmed once the new artwork has been received.

EA apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this has caused

I have now been told by THREE separate retailers that B&W will probablt be out on the 6th! FFS! They spun me some bulls*** story that EA have been spouting about packaging being changed! PACKAGING FFS! Goddamnit, this is REALLY testing my patience with distrubutors.
