I don't know about that specific batery but Hardly Normal in the mall have similar Sony Batterys with their MD stuff, so it might be worth a look.

Truth hurts doesn't it. If the battery were an "open design" you'd be able to buy 3rd party batteries but chances are you can't because Sony wants to reserve the right to charge you as much as it wants. |

no i dont really give a f***, sure its a hassle to only buy it from a sony store but thats what you get for buying good quality sony gear, i knew what i was getting into when i bought the discman so i dont have a problem with it. the only people that have problems with it are dicks like you and dicks who dont research a product when purchasing it. i was told by the sony guys that a few places around brisbane choose to stock them and i was just asking if anyone knew of them... so stfu.

Truth hurts doesn't it. If the battery were an "open design" you'd be able to buy 3rd party batteries but chances are you can't because Sony wants to reserve the right to charge you as much as it wants.Acctually they are preety open (a voltage rating is hard to unstandardise). I've seen bateries like the internal batery in my MD recoder made by unknown companies, unfortunalty I couldn't find any cause that had higher amp/hour ratings which mean it will stay charged longer + my battery = f***ed. So to reiterate, hunter, stfu. what if u stuck a panasonic battery with teh same voltage into a sony unit? will it work?Yes casue I used my MD to charge someone elses battery once, the only differnce will be the Amp/Hour rating and the bigger the better. Ensure that it is the right voltage cause the wrong voltage will most likly drive the circuits too hard and break things. |
