Anyone remember good old Australian comedy series such as Fast Foward? Ever since I got Foxtel back in Nov. 2000 I've been catching up on all incarnations of Fast Forward and two of my favourite sendups are the Roger Rams***t rug sale one and the Dodgy Brothers ones. Ahhh memories. Anyway, anyone else used to or still watch these Australian classics?

Haha Brent, Barry and Smythe or something were the ad agency guys right? Hahaha oh man some of their stuff was sooo funny. And the flight attendents, hahah they'd never get away with that now (all the gay lobby groups would have a hissy fit).

Why don't we have comedy shows like that now? Doing sendups of aussie television and advertising. All we have now are American sitcoms.

Because Australian TV executives are a pack of d*******s who don't give a s*** about how good or bad their TV is so long as the next episode of the depressingly bad Friends is aired.

Saw an interview with Steve Vizard once and he said he actually got a call from a flight steward who went off at him for acting like all flight stewards were gay. He said the guy gave him so much more material than he could ever think up.

The space ship had what was known as Rubbery Figures in it. Theat was fun and it wasnt Bigs Bum that he was saying it was Pigs Arse. And it was supposed to be John Singleton I believe.

I think you meant the other way round... Fast Foward was the predecessor to Full Frontal and Totally Full Frontal...

Fast Foward was the original and the best.

Full Frontal, with Shaun Micalef and the gazelles was gold.

Also, the Micalef Program was rad.

Funniest skit ever, was where that fat guy brought in a bucket and a ladder, climbed to the top, and then started pissing into the bucket. Then when he climbed down Shaun said, "i thought you were going to jump into the bucket." Then the fat guy says, "what? into a bucket of piss?"

f***ing classic.

Yeah, I've been watching Fast Forward and Full Frontal on Foxtel.

I'd seen pretty much every Full Frontal episode before that anyway, but I'd missed Fast Forward...so I've been catching up. :)

Its quite sad that the only things I watch on TV are repeats on Foxtel. Free-to-air TV just keeps getting worse and worse.

Soz anarot, I didnt make it clear, I knew it was called Pizza, but I was wondering whether it was the show about the pizza company Fat Pizza.

But yeah, Pizza rocks. Anyone see that episode where they spill radioactive cheese into the city's water supply, and it acts as an aphrodesiac? :D
