Got a small problem/question.
Snagging files through fserve on irc (using mIRC - im a bit of a newb). I've got about 5-6files queued on about 4 'fserves' (if thats the right term?). Is there a command at all to list all current DCC transfers/queues? Like in the status window etc. Dunno if i made any sense there, but i cant keep track of what server im queued on, in order to tell where im at time-wise. Thanks in advance.. nik |

i know there is one in BitchX, its just /dcc but in mirc i dunno man. Might have to get a script for it. I dont think there is a command for it. Try google and then mirc scripts. or http://www.mircscripts.org edit : just noticed ya location. What part of Gold Coast do ya live in mate ? i am also a goldie. |

in mirc
local info - > set connect "local host" and lookup method -> "server" that should fix dcc problems if you're on enterthegame, look for the red text you get when it fails fool a lot of files are blocked, and you can read further in there, easy |

I think he wants to keep a track of what file he has queued and when they will come on the different fserves (i could be wrong?).
If that is the case i don't think you will find out, i tried to find something like this a while ago and for all my efforts i found nothing =( |

Nope can't do it.
Fserves are just other irc clients on people's pcs.. they have no way to talk to one another, or to you, a part from through you connecting to them... and your client doesn't know what you've told them to do so doesn't know what you've queued, and their clients don't send out updates on your queue status. I just keep track of what i've got queued in notepad.. just the channel, the command to open the fserve and what i've queued... ie. #hotdonkeyporn !donkeys galore TwoMen&ADonkey_DIVX rar - r12 !DonkeyLoving TwoMen&ADonkey_DIVX r13 - r24 and so on. |
