Anyone had problems with the Logitech Mouseware version 9 drivers (or greater) and win2k and Q3? Every version I install just screws up the mouse - if I press right mouse button (which is my run forward button) and am running forward and fire, it stops me running forward. Its like I can't press both buttons at once. |

I'm using version 9 drivers (not the latest ones yet though). I haven't had any problems. I had problems with my Logitech keyboard drivers. Well the iTouch thing anyway. So I disabled them. Works fine now. |

Just spoke to a few other people that have had the same problem. Its awesome, because uninstalling seems to leave the faulty drivers there, which is GREAT! Apparnetly some guy had to reinstall windows to fix it. |

yeah i LOVE the logitech drivers THEY ROCK SO MUCH had a similar problem when i couldn't press both buttons at once with those gay 9.22 (?). thus no rj. slighlty annoying but what really s***ted me was as you said uninstall DOES NOT FIX IT. anyway there's a support page on the logitech site which gives u instructions on how to purge this sinful piece of softare from your system (no guarantees but hey it worked for me), it's just hidden deep in their nice-looking-but-ultimately-as-functional-as-my-nads webpage: http://expressresponse.com/cgi-bin/progsnp/logitech/srchjnnp?search_type=vdocument&search_input=1560.html&session_id=982914956.28786.3&PRODUCT=M1%2dFirst+Mouse+%28Wheel%29%3bmice&OS=Windows+2000&search_erproduct=mice&counter=1 Ratings: Mouse = 10 Software = 0 Web Site = 0 Support = 0 nowadays I just use intellimouse drivers |

Sif reinstall the f*****. Get version 9 drivers, 9blah.exe. use winzip to extract the files to some place on your hdd. go into hardware devices, click on the mouse, update driver, display a list of known drivers (you must do this so windows doesnt choose the best drivers for you) install from disk, choose the location of the extracted 9 drivers. Pick whatever mouse you have and BAM!. When you install old logi drivers all it does is see you have an updated mouse driver and just installs the old mouse center. |

Logitech have awesome mice and awesome drivers up until version 8.5. After that it just became a waste of time. I am now looking for other mouse drivers that might work with the logi. Pitty that version 9 was the first version to suck since its the earlist one you can get to work with win2k. Still its not too bad unless trog wants to press 3 buttons at once and doesnt have a usb mouse. |
