Its the third brightest object and it moves, cant miss it.

if ya keen enough you might want to go bayside to get the minimum amount of city light getting in the way. i spose if you live out wynnum way Fishermans Is. would be a good spot.
western suburbs will probably suck a bit for viewing it

if u r looking west and see something really bright and isnt moving fast thats venus
if it is moving fast then its not venus
