hey, ive recently been lucky enough to get a few scratches on my monitor, i was wondering if theres anyway to get them fixed professionally or by someother means.....

any help is appreciated

Try calling Novus Windscreen Repairs. It's not definite that they'd be able to fix it, but it can't hurt to ask (they can remove scratches from windscreens, and I know they repair TVs)

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. I actually worked at Novus for a spell fella's last time they had a PC in there with Scratches they accidently ripped the film ( i dont know what its called ) that covered the monitor. Me and the other girl there had to actually get a razor blade and peel the rest off, and cut it round the egdes so you couldn't see.I didn't see the guy that came and collected it though.

They do a GREAT job on getting sratches out of TV's. Not going into great detail but they use a kinda held held machine that buffs it, and cause TV Screens are bigger they can do it. With PC monitors they are too little, and a little rounded and the machine cant grab hold of it properly. Hence why they had to do it themselves last time and fudged it up.

res i think you can buy stuff to fix small scratches yourself without having to pay someone way to much to do it for you

i wondering if the little kits you can get to fix cds would do the same thing for your monitor

Umm glass is a wee bit harder to fix than plastic
