All I want is a fair match. Bitching about what server we play on is hopeless. If DC play on SA, they will lag. If SAS play on DC, they will lag. It doesn't matter.

All I want is a rematch on whatever map SAS choose, and this time, I hope we get to pick a map also. None of our guys said militia was organised.

I'm happy for our guys to play on SA server, and cop the lag, as long as SAS are happy for us to play with our strongest team, and they'll let us play with 6 players, equal to their 6.

Dunno, but in a game lost by one round, you kinda get pissed off when you have 5 players to 6 for 7 rounds of play...

well I have heard all abotut the war, and it sounds totalyl f***ed up to me. dc were down a player, they didn't agree to paly militia, you woudln't even allow tehm to have an extra player waiting on teh server in case it was needed. that's just retarded, you shoudl have canceled and had a rematch, can't wait till ypu play dc's propper team and everything is fair.

but that's nothign, everyone read this report ofmineon the =AK= vs [SAS] war:

I clan slutted for AK. 5 vs 5 war. map is prodigy. we lose 10-9, we were playing with 4 players for 60% of it though, and SAS never said a thing, they were happy to play us with only 4 of us. tehn when we went terrorist we had only 4 palyers and won teh first 2 rounds, very critical rounds, so SAS restart the map saying and their reason is "you didn'thave enough players" OH, SO NOW IT MATTERS!! it didn't bother them when they were winning, but for a secodn it was possible we could defeat mighty SAS, sothey restart, naturally i complained, so youknwo what they do? tehy say "want us to do it again?" and restart the map again right when we had punched through some defense and gained a good position on them.

So I just f***ed off at that point, it was only a muck around war but just like the dc one sas would play dirty if it appeared there was a possibility they might lose.

And I can hack a loss, I've had plenty of clan wars where we lost and I just accept it, we lost to sas at finals and it was fair and nothing wrong with it. but that was just f***ing gay that war with =AK=. and it sounds like the dc one wasn't much better.

That's bs. We all know that clan DC can easily own the SAS. No offence to you SAS people, you are a decent clan. But the DC are currently the top Australian clan. Either DC were not playing properly/seriously, or DC clan morale is down. After all, how would YOU feel if your clan leader and founder left you for another clan...

It didn't really matter Bob, there was only 3 DC players after Xzi left anyway. The rest were fill-ins because we couldn't make the numbers. We should have postponed, but I didn't want to let SAS down.

I don't think I've ever been in a net war that went 100% smoothly, it's too hard forpeople (normal ones with lives) to set apart the time and make sure they aren't gonna be busy, unless you make a thing of it, like if i was having a war my clan woudl probably all go toonehouse for it since we are allmates, and sas are probably similar sinec they are all mates

When I organise a war, I give all my members as much notice as I can. I also roster on 2 extra players as designated reserves. I will email the team prior to war day with tactics, and we all meet in IRC to discuss other war concerns 30 mins before war start.
The only thing that really f***s up any of my wars is servers. Usually it's because the admin says "Sorry, can't do it" 20 mins before your schedule. I also need more server contacts.

Ok we where going to be friendly about this but you guys just over judged what actually went on. Firstly the ringins were doing better than most of the REAL DC guys.

When we started playing militia DC just have an entirely new squad. I don’t think I have ever been in a war when that happened. These matches were for the Cscore competition and in the rules if a player drops out then it doesn’t stop the war.

In regards to last night every one of us f***as had too much to drink (Mirage was trying to play with his face rather than fingers) Barak I think you should get some idea of what is actually going on before you start spreading rumours.

SAS are a great bunch of guys I dont believe when ANY of you guys have heard us whinge and whine about anything. Barak you are THE most immature and irresponsible person I think I have ever come across.

I just wish that this SAS envy would just stop. Please realise that we are a good clan and we will stick up to it. We just finished losing to SOG right after we played DC.

i have been in this game for soo long and i have had this arguement soo many times with clan leaders...
Fair is:
*5 vs 5 or what ever the designated number of players is......
*A map each clan agrees on.....
*A team that is souly the members of each clan... ( if they used other members so what 90% of the time the ringins dont know the tactics/duties in the clan for wars...)
*A server where the ping can be balanced out between the 2 sides....
These are just some of the atributes that contribute to a "Fair" match... and until each one can be met the war cannot nor ever be deemed as fair in my books....

Sprinks i have been in ur position many times and the best way to prove that it doesnt matter weither the match was fair or not is to rematch them...

easily fixed rematch them and make sure that both clans are happy about the war...

sprinks if u just come out screaming at ppl they will think that u are trying to defend urself and they will think that u do need this advantage to win....

war them again... show em whose boss...

Nobody likes to lose, but it is sad to see that our "good friends" have turned so bitter towards SAS.

I think this is because the losing squad has forced their opinions onto everyone, and only told the events from their biased point of view.

Now I will clear all this BULLs*** up.

First of all, Axis and your f***ed up clan =AK= story....
You are a f***ing imbecile. So I will explain this "restart" s*** as simply as I can.
The clan was barely =AK= anyway, it was you and Warclone etc. Anyway, we were about 6 or more rounds into the match, one of your players drops (as is common in net matches). Nothing is said except for a few WTF's. He comes back in and drops again. Anyway SAS ends up winning the side pretty quickly.

Then, on the clean restart the =AK= guy drops again. We immediately stated that we are restarting for them. Axis conveniently doesn't read our messages saying that this is not real untill your player rejoins. Soon enough he does and we restart the round to have a clean 6v6. Axis could not handle this cos maybe he killed one or two of us when we were f***ing around. So he bitches for a while and leaves. Even though his own team were telling him to STFU etc. The whole match was just a BS f***around and will be thought of as nothing more than a friendly war. So forget that.

Now for the issues in the SAS vs DC war...

* A DC player copped bad lag and dropped. He came back and the same s*** happens. At NO TIME did any of the DC squad complain or ask for a restart, I assume that they as a clan who has been in many wars knows the rules about player droppings - It is NOT the oppositions problem. Another thing, if DC are as organised and proffessional as they claim, why the f*** didn't they have a reserve player waiting in ICQ? SAS did, we had MullaC as our backup. This ensured us of a smooth transition if something f***ed up.
The strange thing was, DC somehow found two other players for the next map...

* DeePer, you claim you were unaware of any of your players agreed to Militia? You better improve your communication with your war organiser Nihlist. SAS chose Prodigy, DC replied with Militia. So Militia what YOUR map which your chose to play on.
Besides, if there was an issue, why the hell did I not hear ONE complaint? The map changed and we started playing without fuss or one word said. So that issue is nullified.

* DC want a rematch? This is to be expected. No one likes to lose, especially by such a close margin. You must admit though, it was a great match where alot of skill was displayed. DC says they did not have thier best players, for some reason I don't think a team with DeePer, Genocide and Warclone playing could equate to a s*** team. This match was organised between myself and Nihlist two weeks ago, this was ample time for you to get a great team together. It was not like this match was sprung upon anyone. A good clan leader would have had everything accounted for (reserves, backup plans etc).

SAS will war DC again - ON LAN.

We are sick of this f***ing bulls*** that occurs during online wars. So we will hope to meet DC again at CPL-P. Besides, we have alot of other clans to play before we start replaying clans which we have already beat.

Finally, what the f*** is with all anti-SAS s*** that is going on? I do not appreciate f***WITS judging us and the events that happened in this war when you were not even f***ing there. You all have no idea so keep the f*** out of our business.

Alright seing as Sprinkler is such a gibbering moron with his head up his ass I'll present the facts, clear as day.

- SAS refused to wait for DC to get a player, playing on 6 SAS vs 5 DC.

- SAS refuse to use a server we didn't get CONSTANT packet loss, and an average ping of 20-30 higher than theirs on.

- SAS played with 4 players on LAN, repeatedly telling the others where we were if 1 of them went down.

- SAS had at LEAST 1 man garage camping on Militia the entire time they were Terrorists.

...interesting that we suck, after losing by 1 round, despite them playing a 5 man team with constant packet loss.

Sprinkler it was great funning "lanning" with you guys, but you're a clan that simply cant compete on a level playing field.

The fact you claim this to be a victory is a disgrace, and you're the reason clans don't bother playing those with ego problems like yourselves.

We accept the loss, but if a rematch was to take place, 6 on 6, on our server, we'd beat them by 20 or 30 rounds, not 1.

Personally, I know that the DC can and should have easily thrashed SAS.
You should rematch, and instead of it being Militia or Nuke, make it something that neither team really likes.

I would like to see this match played on a level playing field as said earlier. [DC] have for a long time been one of the best clans in AUS sit outstanding tactics and great teamwork.

Personally, I couldn't care that you guys were on LAN, I know you all personally, and I trust you not to cheat. I also don't care that you had players in the hostage room etc - clan wars are like that. As far as I'm concerned, I have no issues with militia, but I think playing one man down for 7 rounds, then only losing by 1 round is an indicator that even our combined skills (of unknown players) showed that we were actually better on that map.

Ok, all friendship asside, and I may be stepping on some ppl's feet, or just repeating the obvious. But I will voice my opinion on this matter.

Strex, I would first of all like to congratulate you and the SAS crew, to beat DC is not an easy task, they could have only three men present in a war and most clans would lose.

But the fact of the matter is that this is a W A R. And as the saying goes, all is fair in love and you guessed it... W A R. The proffesionalism that SAS have is probably a large contributing factor to their success so far.

DC in my eyes, MUST have under-estimated their oponents, how could a clan decide to war a clan of SAS's caliber and not have a full team, with DC member reserves????
