Ok this will be the fourth time that I have posted this since thursday:

Alright I just get my new motherboard back yesterday after a month without any computer. Today I install Half-Life and cs, go to connect to the Ausgamers server, and it comes up with "you have been banned from this server"
WTF is this? Is this a known bug? Have I missed out on something recently? Have I actually been banned?
Like I said, I've been without a computer for a month, and before my old mobo died, I always played on that server without any problems...
Has this happenned to anyone else?
How do I go about fixing it?

I have instaled Paladin client and it still comes up with the message:

...trying to authenticate with WON.net
WON authentication successful
you have been banned from this server

I have emailed trog about it and he said to post about it here. So I am, for the second time.

I've heard that just after you've re-installed cs / deleted your Custom.hpk file, paladin will have a hissy fit. It's a bug in it.
Custom.hpk file is the file that everyone elses spray tags downloads to. If you delete it, cs loads MUCH faster... HL automatically re-creates the file the first time you join a server... if it's a paladin server, you will get banned because of the said bug.

Can an admin PLEASE tell me how to go about rectifying this. I have never cheated, or installed a cheat on mine or anyone else's computer. I regard myself to be a pretty respectable player, so I'm hoping that this is purely just the bug in Paladin that Pharcyde was talking about. Can I please have some REAL replies to this.

Does anyone have your cdkey. If so, and they were dumb enough to cheat, you could be banned.

Also, I think someone found a way to reverse a wonid to a cdkey, because I was banned recently and the only people that know my cdkey are me, and my bro.

how do I go about being un-banned?

a) answer cyph's questions - he's an admin too
b) supply your in-game nick and WONID

Here's a list of names that are also using your WONID. One of them was banned for cheating.

well Scythe is my brother and he uses the same Half-Life, so he wasn't cheating.
Sif I cheat is fpot, he was using that name at qgl while cheating and his name appears a few times there...
Neither Mephzor or WWFMike cheat as far as I know.

You can find out your WON ID by typing in "status" in the console (without the quotes), and it will be the first couple of numbers next to your name.

ok, so I supplied you with my WON ID and handle like a week ago and I'M STILL BANNED. Did you just give me that list of names to humour me or something? WTF is the point in telling me this bs if you aren't going to unban me?

Magellan, i'm not an admin or even a good CS player for that matter but i'd suggest you be a little more polite. I'm sure the admins don't WONT to ban you specificly. But if the data that is used to pin point a particular cheater is as inaccurated as my deagle skills then what can they do. I think what the admins are saying is that there lists say you are a cheat... end of story.

Ok, I can understand that, but why should I suffer for someone else's actions? The server is running Paladin nowadays, so I don't think that the person who cheated with my WON ID will be coming back and cheating again, so I would like to be unbanned!
If they still don't want to do that, then is there any way for them to tell when the WON ID was banned, because then I could send them evidence that I didn't even have my motherboard on that date! Though that probaby wouldn't help much.
Seriously, I am getting very frustrated with not being able to connect to the Ausgamers server and also with admins ignoring me. I've spent weeks screwing around wth forums and stuff but they still refuse to give me a flat out answer to my original question - is there any way for me to go about being unbanned from this server?
If not, then just f***ing say so and quit screwing me around.

Cmon this is pissing me off.

You said 'No, no1 has ever had my cdkey', and I pasted the list to show you that you were wrong. Someone was cheating with your CDKey, and they got banned, which is why you are also banned. I hadn't written anything else because I thought that would be enough to indicate why you were banned. We're not exactly going out of our way to unban cdkeys that are obviously in use by a bunch of different people.

Anyway, its been unbanned (we usually wait a few weeks to discourage people from using that cdkey) and should start working again within 48 hours.
