Just saw this over on cnn.com:

Actor Corey Haim, who appeared in a number of movies during the 1980s, died early Wednesday of a possible drug overdose, Los Angeles police said.

It's a big loss for those of us who appreciated the cheesy films of the 80s, Lost Boys especially.

The Lost Boys was a pretty good film, but certainly not one of the greatest vampire films ever made, like some people say.

Corey Feldman is hilarious. I watched the Goonies with the commentary on, and all the kids reunite as adults! It's pretty cool to hear them all talking about their memories of making the movie as kids, as well as hearing Richard Donner telling them all how annoying they all were to work with. Then of course there's that scene where Corey Feldman's character, Mouth, is speaking to the housekeeper in Spanish, and he's playing a prank on her by telling her they keep cocain and heroin in separate drawers. Oh man... the commentary during that scene is priceless...

billy, lost boys IS one the best vampire movies made.

Nothing has come close to it in years, todays stuff ages very quickly and badly might I say.

Would you beleive Chunk is now a Hollywood lawyer type who looks nothing like he did in his truffle shuffling days? He's also a bit of a gamer, which is where I spotted him doing a guest article for Kotaku a while back.

Yeh I think with the commentary you actually get to see the cast talking during the movie... it's awesome/
