So your monitor would stay upright and stable without the stand attached?

lol @ phone books - the vx2835vm is a pretty big LCD, you'd probably need 20 of the bastards to keep it propped it up.

activatethespace.com and have a look at their mode-AL range if that doesn't hold it then nothing will

Seems the us parent company site has gone tits up http://www.mode-al.co.uk/products.html

I've always wanted a wall mount for my 24" LCD but I can't find a good one that lets you rotate the monitor to portrait. Gimme a heads-up if you know of one.

Cheers Kat, that SPACEDEC one is exactly what I was looking for!

Hey teq, can you find me a retailer for that one.

Also, konstie you bumbling fool. Take a teaspoon of cement and get some sleep. Call me in the morning if you haven't hardened the f*** up.

Still having no luck.

I need a free standing vesa mount stand with 6 screws (not 4).

No wall to mount to and the desk style won't allow clip/clamp on

Pretty sure we bought ours from http://www.ingrammicro.com.au/index.html
which might not help you at all

Kat, get your hubby to knock something up?
a mate of mine knocked up a 60" plasma mount for his TV using sheet metal in about 8 seconds (cut & drill + screw)

I was going to suggest make you're own but I guess you would have considered it already if you had the skillz/toolz.

Surely modifying an existing mount by drilling more holes in it not work
