Get Explosive Ammo, Incendiary Ammo, Lazer Sights + Grenade Launcher in the Demo!

To enable console go to option and got to keyboard and enable dev console

Open the console, type sv_cheats 1 and enter the following:

upgrade_add explosive_ammo
-Exposive Ammo upgrade!

upgrade_add incendiary_ammo
-Incendairy Ammo upgrade!

upgrade_add laser_sights
-Adds a laser pointer to your current weapon!

give weapons_grenade_launcher
-Gives you the mighty Grenade Launcher!


Grenades might not work.

I'm about to when it finishes updating.

some of the old L4d1 mods work fine with the new demo after a few minor changes.

we'll see more after the full release though


I'm kinda wondering why hardcore L4D1 players aren't jumping up and down considering incendiary and laser sights have been in L4D1 for ~6 months now.


gren launcher should require a licence to use eh :(

apparently they patched it so you can't use those sv_cheats cmds anymore. Meh Ill just wait for the full game.

Also the jukebox has the song from portal on it "still alive".
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2 demo\left4dead2\sound\music\flu\jukebox

I haven't heard the jukebox play still alive, but I've heard it play Re: Your brains, which is another Jonathon Coulton song, and seems to suit the game much better :P
