Has anyone tried XS energy drinks? I got given a 6 pack of the citrus flavour and it's s*** hot. Sugar free and packs way more punch in terms of alertness than the others. I never got to liking the sugar free V but this is ok.

My mate used to eat a combo of dry instant coffee and raw sugar. He developed diabetes.

But back on topic, try just eating instant coffee :D

There are various patents for that. Don't confuse alertness with stimulation though, there is a correlation between the two but it is quadratic/parabolic and the exact formula depends on the person.

Well put it this way.. last semester I had to pull an all nighter to get some work done, at about 11pm I had 1 of those Large cans of V, then another at about 2am.

I ended up being awake all night, all day, all the next night, and slept at about 2am the following night.

will this make me stay awake for a week or what? :D

Had one of those Monster ones the other day, out of curiosity. It tasted kinda like sweet, sugary cough syrup, but in a good way.

A mate of mine at work is selling that XS stuff at the moment as a little side business. He can hook me up at $2.50 a can, not bad. I am yet to try it though.

The energy drinks like V, Red Bull and Mother don't really do anything to me. Anyone know of ones that work awesomely and actually keep you wide awake?
