I want to get a cheap, small space black and white printer that is cheap to refill.

any suggestions ?

I have a Samsung Laser B&W you can have. We now have a multifunction so don't need it anymore.

I think the toner needs refilling (it still prints at the moment though) but when it's full it lasts for ages, something like 4,000 pages when you have toner saver on.

I think the model is ML 1210.

I bought a $30 printer (bubblejet) and it works just fine. To replace black is around $20 for a cartridge.

Just get a black and white laser they're cheap as chips these days.

+1, I got it a few months back for $88 at K-Mart. Worked out to be $44 after the cashback promotion (I think it has finished now though).
