Extra info: Comes with remote control, full windows installation kit, proof of purchase, manual, still under warranty.

This is a waterless air con. It sucks the humidity out of the air and fill the internal tank with water. Once full it will stop and beep to let you know to empty the tank. It also has external drainage if you want it to be on hours on end.

they're alright, I used one in the summer of 05-06 to cool a 1 bedroom apartment (sydney)
it took hours to get the whole place down to temp but it maintained it so long as you keep the doors closed

plus with the timer you can set it to come on an hour or two before you get home and its the right temp

Yes The model number is AM-12A4\R, which is the later model in the series with 12000 btu/h cooling capacity (rather than 9000 btu/h).

Be aware that these things are cheap and they aren't overly efficient.
Even a window box rattler will smash these into the ground.
