Hi, I need to put a watermark logo on many photos. Can someone recommend a program that is easy to use. If I need to buy one that is fine, please no options like just buy photoshop. That wouldn't be in the budget. Cheers |

what is it for? If you're putting these images on a website, then you should just get a PHP thing to merge two images with imagemagick or GD.

Doesn't Photoshop have a 30-day trial though?

if doing for a website, there are a few image controls out there. another way is to make a transperent gif, and overlay them via divs on the website. however, a savvy user could see that in code, and get the non water mark.

Sorry guys, didn't give you enough info.
It is for putting on pictures that are uploaded to a website through like a dashboard back end thing. So I will not have any control over codes. Also I need it to be simple enough that old women can do it. last edited by jubs at 17:02:29 20/Aug/09 |

I use Adobe Lightroom 2.4 + the LRMogrify plugin which takes advantage of the mogrify program in ImageMagick so I assume if you know the commands you can just download ImageMagick for free & tell it where your watermark image is located and where you want it on your photos. Just set up a batch file & drag photos on it or make a link in the send to menu so the crazy old women can just right click -> send to -> watermark

Epic thanks for that. Only a million choices of random ass programs I have never heard of.
Thanks Eds and Whoop, I will check those out. |
