Anyone got a socket 478 P4 3.2 they want to give/sell to me? Dont need the heatsink, just the cpu.

Thanks.

I *might* be able to hook up a 2.8ghz, would that suffice?

Willing to pay up to $50 for a p4 3.2 with heatsink and fan (just the stocko that would have come with it)

I had an S775 P4 3.2Ghz in my MCE and it was really struggling with 1080p h264 content, I ended up swapping it out for a dual core E6300 (had one lying around, just needed a mobo).

Might be worth saving up some ponies and upgrading if you can - for the long run.

Yeah I think a 3.0 might just cut it.

the cpu was about 10-20% watching tv. your more than welcome to have a try of it.
