anyone else in the milton/auchenflower/toowong area trying to drive across Milton Rd? The traffic lights don't bloody change very often, once every 10-15 minutes or something!

Whats the problem here?

How many times have you tried to make a joke in a group of people and been met with silence or at best awkward laughter?

There's a set of lights near the bp/maccas there on milton road that don't change at all after about 6pm or something. One day I tried to turn there with about half an hour left before they stopped changing and they never changed. f*** you traffic lights. f*** you for making me go the long way home.

whenever i get sick of waiting for traffic lights i back up a bit (few metres) and go to the line again, this has never not worked for me to make it seem like i caused the light change.

Actually one night around 1am near where they're doing the hale st overpass roadwork we were waiting at a set of lights for over ten minutes in a cab. The indian dude actually paused the fare cos it was taking so long, which is rare. There were traffic cops too who didn't give a s***, it wasn't until one of the road workers hit the pedestrian cross button out of pity.

Getting across at Castlemaine St is a pain in the arse. The cars just don't stop coming.

Oh god... what's even worse that after a massive wait for a gap, there's ONE final car to pass.

Suddenly they start changing a CD, answer a mobile or just in general drive like a f***tard going 30km/hr in 60 zone, then the lights change, and a big line of cars build behind this knob and you're back to square one.

I hate it when people don't enter the intersection. f***ers are constantly stopping me from getting lights where 3 cars could go through in the time it takes them not to.

you mean the one with the no right turn sign, the flashing no right turn sign, and the red lights on the road that angle back into traffic inbound? Or was the light sequence not matching the warning light display?

My current pet hate is all the a******s on Caxton street turning right to merge outbound on the ICB who don't f***ing enter the intersection to go once the light turns Orange.

Your not permitted to enter a choked intersection
Your not permitted to proceed through an orange/amber light unless you can't stop safely

Side streets that have a 30 second green light onto a busy main road are f***ed up.

All it takes is some inconsiderate retard to take 5 - 10 seconds to realise that they can move and your stuck behind 3 more of the same type for the next 15 minutes...

I'll cut people slack in wet weather though when it's dry just makes me go spare...
(an for the recored, I'm the same walking in a shopping centre an people dawdle along and block the walkway), at least when it's people I can politely ask to move through. In a car, not an option.

I was working over there for a while and got caught in traffic every arvo. I'd say to myself, "I park in the middle of an intersection on Milton Rd."

I always try and get out at cribb street, the park road end sux and you can't go right :(

i hate trafiic lights.....
the world keeps moving forwards in leeps and bounds technology wise, but we use some of the same trafiic lights that have been in place for over 30 years.
you would think by now they would have sensors and all sorts of hi-tech s*** so there changes are more suited to whats actually happening at the intersection and not on some wierd loop.
pity queenslanders cant use roundabouots properly on average, or we might have more of them. like, indicating off a roundabout, doesnt happen much in brisbane.

in europe everyone indicates off roundabout and speaks 5 languages while being more racially tolerant and enter autobahn at 300km/h without issue
