Hmmm I assume it has some dragons, which just leaves pirates.

But then again, it's a movie. I'm sure there will be plenty of pirates. ;P

Is it me or does that scene with the kid bashing the other kid seems very "300"ish.. even with the death stare and all.

I was gonna post this last night but I was too slack. One thing this movie has going for it is the return of Sho Kosugi. You might remember him from such 80's ninja movies like Enter The Ninja, Revenge Of The Ninja and Pray For Death. He's prolly too old now to be jumping around like a crazy son of a bitch but it's nice to see him again. Maybe someone like Tarrantino will put him in another action movie.

wtf? its just a piss poor adaption of the Liam Hearn series, across the nightingale floor.

Not only do they have the setting wrong, they even have the wrong f***ing century. trust me on this, read the book.
