I took time off this past week to do renovations. With the assistance of my retired builder father (well I helped him really) The aim was to turn an old garage which was only ever really used for storage into a second lounge \ entertaining \ games room.

The old garage walls were literally rotting from leaking gutters and s***ty oregon timber and the garage door on that side fell off while I was standing under it and would have had me if it wasn't for the cupboard underneath it.

The week before we gutted it all save for the roller door and the interior wall.

The pics say the rest really, we still have to paint both interior and exterior once the weather clears up and the plasterer (slinky's next door neighbour) returns to clean up the plasterwork. Other things todo are put the old garage door up on the other garage side and paint it, as well as laying laminate floor boards inside after I've sealed the cement.

Will post more pics as I get to those last few things.

So I take it the only thing you did is the renders?

I need closure.

nah I had a hand in pretty much everything except electrical wiring, I did wire up the tv cable to the antenna though :P
