Well I just Googled it, and it's a legitimate program.

But that link doesn't work for me, so I'm getting it elsewhere.

Is legit, looks identical to the console version... although I have a bigass LCD tv and sitting far enough back to look the same as my 1680x1050 close up so whatever.

edit: The site it was released on, which has download links... its all in moon language though - http://www.4gamer.net/games/049/G004954/20090612078

edit2: Now with all new google translation

PC Trailer

Hopefully they have a better matchmaker finder that matching up with players literally across the other side of the planet instead of the same country

Wow, just watched the trailer and ... will the average PC actually struggle with this? Maybe I need to watch a hi-def one to see the wow factor or something because it didn't look all that intensive.

I have a 3.1ghz c2d, 4gigs ram and a GTX 260. On max settings I never dropped below 60fps in the fights in the benchmark (there is some retarded scene at the end with a bunch of characters sitting doing nothing that stresses it more and it dropped to about 45 during that) At the lowest settings I got over 400fps.

So it scales very well, the game probably runs on iphones at the lowest settings given how s*** it looks... no background, no lighting, super washed out and very few colors.

My computer is 4 years old & it got a rank of A when I was checking it out in windowed mode while chatting on MSN

Haven't tried full screen at higher res, but Im glad that I can play it on this machine if desired to

I just tried it on all max settings on my 4 year old PC and averaged just over 80 frames per second without Vsync. Pretty happy with that, this old piece of crap has got some life in it yet. :)

Already have this game on PS3 though, so I'm not going to bother buying it on PC as well. Though, I don't know what it is, but playing Street Fighter 4 on PC has some strange appeal...

Because v-sync limits your fps to your monitor refresh rate to stop tearing.

edit: Thats not actually what vsync does but thats pretty much the effect it has on your fps.

when you turn V-sync off in this, it's like turbo mode. the fight is much faster, depending on your frame rate. i'm guessing it's something to do with the fact that the fights are scripted, though it seems rather odd.

would I be weird if I bought this for pc if I already have it on ps3??
Graphics will be s*** loads better, load times look quicker, finding opponents online should be heaps easier especially if there are decent filters, plus I have a hrap3:sa which will work on pc aswell.

Well, my video card isn't 4 years old. I bought a 8800GT about a year or so back.

Oh, and I didn't realise that I didn't have AA turned up. Doesn't seem to need it though, the other screen effects mask the aliasing really well. Other than that though, everything was max. It did drop down into the 50-60 FPS mark in the Chun-Li fight though. Must have been her thighs.

I have a 4200+ AMD and 2GB of DDR1 RAM, running Windows 7 RC1.
