having trouble getting my new game to load properly. while the intro plays, when i get to the part where i need to enter my details (well thats what i can hear a voice asking me to do), all i get is a black screen. new to gaming so can anybody advise. am using a PC with a Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M with 2gb ddr2 ram.

Have you downloaded and installed the latest video drivers for your card?

Yeah update the drivers. Not sure how that thing will go running games though.

are you running the 1.2 patch ? If so, sounds like your using one of the 'bad' NOCD patches. get a new one.

if your running the standard exe, patch to 1.2.

If still no work, have a look on the codemasters forums.

have you tried playing it on a console ? you don't have to worry about hardware configurations then.

if you bought it of steam just verify the game cache and it will work

same thing happened to me although from past experiance i know to always do this after installing anything on steam
