It wasn't an apple store it was an apple premium reseller. New Byte or Next Byte or something like that and yeah it used to be in the valley.

Went there a few times back when the parents owned a Apple 2C (in the mid 80s) and then again latter when I started working and had to support 30 or so Apples.

As far as I know it's not like they have a massive range (unlike say Sony) so a dedicated store seems kinda?

Its crazy how they generate so much hype over a freakin' store opening. They get the staff to do some sorta jogging laps around the store while everyone goes crazy and people camp out to get into an store that sells some Apple products. Its f***en weird.

Who doesn't want to pay $60 for a video out cable (used to be able to get ones that worked for $10 but they introduced something that made the aftermarket ones not work).
