I've seen them at JB Hi-Fi before.

We've had 2 of them die in our house (used in different PC's). My housemate's died 2 days after he got it for xmas, and mine lasted about 2 months. Apart from that, they're handy since the 360 controller is so rad.

Sorry to bump, but did you end up finding one? I'm interested it grabbing one, but they seem hard to find now. I remember seeing them in JB HiFi ages ago, but I haven't seen them there since, and Burn lists them as discontinued. :(

Don't bother. buy a cheap router that supports ddwrt or tomato firmware. More than likely cheaper than the genuine article. It's what I did, mind you I also use the router for other things besides the 360.

whoop - This is the adaptor that lets you connect wireless Xbox360 controllers to the PC.

Midda - AFAIK, they only sell them bundled with the controller now so you'd have to find some old stock lying around.

That's what I was afraid of. Looking at around $80 for the bundle, though I suppose I could use an extra wireless controller...

EDIT: Just bought the controller/receiver bundle for $82 delivered from DealExtreme. Probably not the best deal, but meh, at least I can stop dragging my wired controller from my computer to the PC now...

No, I fail to see why I should have to go to such efforts to repair the shoddy work of Microsoft when I have paid hard earned cash for a product. Both faulty receivers were returned to Dick Smith for a straight over-the-counter swap. No dramas since.
