My Dell 24" monitor has stopped working. It powers on but no picture is showing for any of the inputs. The on-screen menu doesn't even show up when I press the button. It is about 2-3 years old. Is this something worth getting repaired? Cheers. |

My Dad's did the exact same thing after the storms, he got a 30" under insurance and they let him keep the dead one. He gave that too me, I just got it quoted as $79 for some capacitor on the circuit somewhere.
Ill find out who it was through, got a mate to put it into his guy on the gold coast for me. $80 24" ftw :D |

Eds: I'll give you $100 for it and you can make yourself a tidy $20 profit.

These 2405/2407s are worth fixing. I use a 2405 as my secondary monitor on this system and it's still going strong. It got rained on the other week in the storms but she's still ticking.
