Does anyone have suggestions for keeping your Xbox360 cool? (other than leaving it turned off)
I'd like to dop something that wont void the warranty and the stock fan is noisy as hell. Ideas? |

Take the case off and point a $15 desk fan at the innards.
Also gives the 360 a retro look. |

Has anyone actually put any of these on their Xbox360? I'd love to hear some feedback to see if its worth while or not.
Thanks Damo, I see Cool PC has those bits for sale as well. Might be the go, just waiting to see if anyone has tried them out. |

Well, i've been using my Xbox a bit this summer (Guitar Hero) and it doesn't seem to be running too hot (it is in a cooler part of my house, but i don't have aircon or anything like that). So yeah, why do you actually want to cool it? Just peace of mind?

Well, I've had the red ring of death twice now and apparently heat is what brings it on more than anything else (correct me if I'm wrong). The Xbox seems to scream a lot with the fan working overtime.
