Hey, I have an Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 query which is solved probably really easily but I've gone through prefs as well as online help and can't find a solution. When I installed it I think I made the default selector the text selector which I hate. I want the default to be the hand tool. Obviously I can manually change this but I have to do it every bloody time when I open a new file. Any help without having to reinstall or anything??
Also, do you guys have it as default to "prepare" the document, like content preparation process or something? If it's pointless which it seems it is, is there any way to turn that off too?? Thanks for any help |

I'd like to know as well how to get rid of that useless "content preparation process". Going to watch this thread :) |

Also does anyone know why when I mouse over links now it doesn't show up in the bottom status bar? (IE7) Helps me weed out tricksters!

Agree with whoop. Ditch normal Acrobat. I recently reinstalled it on a new machine (after using FoxIt for ages) and can't believeeeee how much I hate it compared to FoxIt. |

I love Foxit Reader, it's so much faster as Acrobat reader. Brilliant! Only, at work I'm still forced to use Adobe. So well, I *still* need to ge trid of the content preperation process. |
