Since there are only two people left in the country who think Australia doesn't need an R18+ rating for games – those being South Australian Attorney General Michael Atkinson and the sock puppet on his hand – I won't preach to the choir and labour that point.

(for those who got excited, this thread is not actually about the game yahtzee)

As much as I a) believe in what he's saying, and b) respect his work and writing style, I don't think that article broke any new ground. It was more "we need this rating because I played an M15+ title that was awesome". The art argument I feel is fairly moot until they can demonstrate how video games classifications can more accurately align to other mediums such as movies and television programs.

That article so reads like it was written by him :) It's just a little harder reading because he talks really fast, so I reckon it'd come off better if spoken.
