Surely that's a set-up standing that close to the edge of the pool.

If you watch the higher-framerate version below, the trip looks much more genuine (whether it is really fake or not). Though everyone saying "oh my god" sounds a little too clean ..

I've shot a few wedding videos and I'm continually impressed with how retarded the organisers of the ceremonies are in terms of where the ceremony takes place, where the couple and celebrant stand, sound, lighting, etc...
Most of the ones i've been to the bride and groom have their backs to the audience, and they're often near the edge of water for no reason other than so everybody at the wedding can look at the fat people trying to sunbathe on the other side of the lake/pool, and so no camera operator can get in a position to actually see the bride's face, and so all the camera microphones are pointed at the squawking birds in the water and wind in the trees... for f***S sake.

And then it's off to the dark room of pitch black invisibility and roaring echoes for the reception...!

Yeh that's just tradition I reckon dating back to when this s*** was mostly in churches and the priest stood in front without exception. If I got married again I would make the celebrant stand with their back to the audience ffs.

I was actually thinking of having another wedding just for me and my wife that would be ours. I mean when we got married it was really my mother in laws wedding. I had f*** all say it how it went.

I wanted a sunset wedding with about 30-40 of our real friends and family with partying into the night. I got a breakfast wedding at a swanky hotel with 100 people I barely knew mixed in amongst my friends and family. We had a dance floor and a DJ, but who the f*** is going to get funky at 10am? All the kids used it I guess...

bah humbug!

hmmm, that doesnt sound real good mantra

our wedding was exactly what we wanted, a big party with all our mates and a few family members

there was much drinking dancing and hijinx! (and a little bit of offspring sound check)

yeah same, I had a traditional wedding in a church but reception in a little french restaurant that had the most authentic european live music, was awesome night, one big table with around 30 of my closest friends and family, how it should be.

*sigh*

I guess we were too young to really know what we wanted, but yeah, I think I'll surprise the wife with a wedding. That would be pretty cool. Can't say there are many surprise weddings out there :)

yeah sif film a wedding.

to me it strikes me as being kinda gay. unless like not everyone of the relatives could make it, or you're standing in front of a pool.

seems like the only purpose for a wedding video is to cry through when a divorce/spousal death occurs. that or $50,000 on some show hosted by toni pearen.

How about a star trek wedding? :P We watch DS9 on occasion ;)

After the house, I think I'll organise an outdoor wedding in a classy spot somewhere. Any suggestions?

fake I reckon

So they got a bunch of people, hired out some area of a resort, set up the area to look like a wedding, spent thousands of dollars dressing everyone up, and dressing the place up, hired a dry-clean only wedding dress, hired 3 very skilled stunt men, one to be the ring bearer who falls face first onto the deck, one to be the priest, and one to be the bride... of course they had to do it all in one take or it would take hours to reset everything to how it was, so they had to spend enough money to get it right the first time...

... to make a low quality youtube video at a bad frame rate which does not appear to sell anything?

Bah

If someone ripped it off one of those funniest home videos things then they would have added the sounds in for the show. This is irrelevant if someone just uploaded it from their personal videos though.
