if there was a bridge from montague rd to brisbane st or fred schonell or whereever you want to put it. you dont think it would be just as f***ing crowded as william jolly(gray st).
with tunnels and icb's at least the traffic would be concentrated on getting the outer city traffic OUT! and the inner city traffic using the 5 bridges plus the footbridge to get around the inner city or to a bypass road/tunnel.

i reckon they have probably thought this tunnel idea through a little bit. call me crazy.

Culvert tunnel.. good idea. They should have that everywhere, and bigger so there's a conveyor belt for the city's rubbish, and for sending parcels everywhere somehow. Bring it up at your next team meeting.

and i designed the logo. it is pretty naf cause they only gave me half a f***ing day to work on it. but i like the name.

Thats where the Surveyors come in. It's not that hard to determine direction.

Also, Gateway bridge was built 6 inches apart because they never fixed control across the river, so they just pulled it down until they met :p

Awesome info guys. We drove pass the tunnel at the bowen hill end every day but of course couldn't see that much axions above ground so was good to see what it looked like inside.

Also XandraX what do they do with the rocks in your first pics? Do they crush them up and use it as concrete lining for the tunnel??

goes from the SE Busway to the bridge. so much money spent on a bridge to nowhere. green bridge makes me so angry. It's not even green, it's grey!

Its being dumped behind the Brisbane airport control tower to raise the height of the ground in preparation for the airport expansion and second runway.
