Can someone else try this and see if they get the same problem.
Goto coastalwatch.com.au, and check out a surfcam somewhere Then have a look at your firefox memory usage |

Only went up about 30Mb for me. Wouldn't say that was too bad for firefox.

I get 95mb in the surf cam with the win media plugin.
But then I get 83mb with no pages opened at all. What ever happened to firefox having a low memory footprint? |

Stop overloading firefox with plugins. Mine sits at around ~50 with the video playing.

This many addons shouldn't use that much extra space.

I'm guessing the only info it has on the servers location is the nation.
Found the server, must be underground in a secret facility. http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/7101/serveriy4.th.jpg last edited by Lynx at 16:10:21 21/Aug/08 |

hey jmr, ive noticed my firefox using 500-600mB and 100% cpu since i upgraded to a few diff versions of 2... keep upgrading mate, it's a common problem with firefox but they get it worked out eventually. a restart of FF always fixes it though..

I've left Firefox open. Got 4 ausgamers tags open in the 1 firefox window. Firefox has gobbled up 270megs and is sitting at 50% of CPU. The typing now is slightly delayed because of it.
