This October Slipknot guide their unholy army through the nine circles of hell on the All Hope is Gone 2008 world tour, their first tour of Australia since they stormed the main stages at the 2005 Big Day Out.

At the turn of the millennium, Slipknot erupted onto the heavy music scene and their first three albums reset the course of the Metal genre. You know, I don't mind Slipknot and all but it still kind of offends me a little that they're the headliner and a band that's both more experienced and more talented is the support.

Also - Machine Head were top notch when I saw them in Sweden last year.

I was thinking of going to see Billy Joel, but tickets were too expensive.

Khel is too hardcore for this thread anyone who can sit through a billy Joel concert without vomiting blood is a hard dude indeed.

Out of all the older kind of musicians, Billy Joel would be a good pick, because his songs are well known, so at least you'd have heard the songs before.
