is there a quick and easy way to backup favourites and passwords from mozilla and ie?
i remember doing it last time and i thought there was an option or something that u click and it saves it all for u ? |

Passwords? No idea, the firefox profiles folder might retain its passwords. but for favorites/bookmarks:
C:\Documents and Settings\Scuzzy\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles C:\Documents and Settings\Scuzzy\Favorites Replace Scuzzy with the obvious |

Yeah just backup your mozilla profile, it keeps the passwords. I just formatted & I still have all my passwords & logins.
alternately just save C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(active profile)\signons.txt your passwords are in there. last edited by whoop at 15:47:33 27/Jan/07 |
