I place $10 on it that says TF2 doesn't come out in the form it sued to be, and will be different.

We will find out soon though. valve aren't stupid they know they cant survive on Hl forever.

I think valve have realised that people don't really want the game TF2.. atleast in the form they were showing it off as.

people want more from a game now then a few classes, and tons of games/mods have already done what TF2 was gonig to accomplish.

that is my reason for stating that valve are working on something, but we don't know what.

they have 40+ employees there. u think they are using them all to make DMC etc? no way..

an important thing to learn in life is to never look forward to anyting cause when it comes it is always s***.
eg. Black and white. f*** that games looked mad before it came out and then when it did... I was very sad.

Therefore dont look forward to anything only look forward to the next time you play the game when you have it in your possession

Oh yeah, I forgot, because the quality of a game is directly correlated with how much press and screenshots they spam at you.

Could it be that they are fed up with the whole hyping trend? Valve now have a 3DRealms-esque policy of no major hyping until it's virtually done. Boy, I wonder if that's why they aren't telling you how close it is.

You have no idea when it's going to be released. For all you know, it could be on shelves for this xmas with Half-Life 2. Personally, I'll wait and see what the game is like before I declare it crap - just because something took long to make doesn't make it crap.

Don't forget, the original Half-Life was scrapped 3 months before it's intended release date of xmas '97. They scrapped it, then rebuilt it as the HL you know and love today.

In summary, stop being such whinging fanboys and let them make the f***ing game.

it shouldnt even be called teamfortress 2, since it wont be anything near the type of game TF for quake was. if it ever comes out it will be like TFC only gayer, prety scary huh
