After two years together my housemates and I are each going our seperate ways. Now comes the dilema of where to move, whether to move with someone and who etc.
Obviously for financial reasons sharing is a popular option - but can also be your own personal hell. When I moved in with the girls they had already lived together for three years and I was brought in a the 'circuit breaker'. The first few months were not a particularly pleasant experience. But everyone has done it at some point so.... Any particulary noteworthy stories? |

i've had great times & s***house times in share accomadation... but i've lived by myself for about the last 6years now & there is no going back i tells ya! the best times were at a share house in westend... 3 other blokes.. we all worked for telecom at the time & all rode bikes. it was a usual thing to come home from work & there would be an upside down trailbike in the loungeroom with someone straightening the rims by tuning the spokes, someone rebuilding an engine in the kitchen sink & burnout marks on the hallway floorboards :P~
if the front door was open we'd just ride our bikes straight up the front stairs down the hallways & park them on the back veranda :D the worst was a 6bedroom place in red hill that i shared with 8 other people... f***N NIGHTMARE!!!@#!@! constant bitching & cliques... nG! i bought my own house now... & it's blisssssss by comparison to share accom imo. |

I once lived with a guy who used to leave the backdoor open (a sliding door) when he went out... Our back door faced on to a semi major feeder street with a bus stop from town about 5 meters from the back door.
I once lived with a house mate who used to collect the money for bills and then not pay them until whatever utility it was got turned off. Cold showers and shaves as you are late for work becuase your alarm didn't go off ROCK! I once lived with a housemate who would use plates and keep them in his bedroom until we had none left ... ps. we had a dish washer. I once lived with a house mate who used to collect empty softdrink bottle and pizza boxes. At one point you needed a shot and a bulldozer to enter the room. I once lived with a house mate that locked himself in his room for 3 solid months (probably closer to 4 months actually). None of us saw him ever, not even for bathroom/food. We used to hear him sneaking around late at night. |

My suggestion is don't live with people in your immediate group of friends but live with people with similar lifestyles. You want people who are going to keep similar hours and have similar needs for money, sleep, food and company but not have people that are going to get intimately involved in your affairs and can be sounding boards. Never live with people who are significantly messier or cleaner than you since it will cause problems no matter how much you try for it not to be.
I tend to be the 'mother' of a household so it's a bit different, I've often been the one to set up houses and usually the one asking people to do chores. I tend to negotiate a list of rules with new housemates including things like who can come to the house, what is considered a reasonable time to have guests on a 'school night', how bills are going to be paid... doing it early before you're settled into the house and making sure everyone has input and agrees can save many arguments later. |

^ Yeah thats always been a priority. Also means that when you get stuck with a s***y agency like Ray White and are having nothing but dramas and everyone else is to lazy to do anything about it - you have the power to.

I once lived with Saint. It was going along awesome until the f*** head put a dead spider on my sheets when i was overseas, causing me to have a heart attack when I returned. The f***ing fagot. I also had a roomate who did nothing but smokes cones 24 hours a day, he was a good bloke but the house wreaked of weed. last edited by casa at 16:32:30 24/Nov/05 |

The only good Sharehouse experince with strangers and friends, I had was when I moved out and lived by myself.
Shared house sux big time, I would never do that again unless I absolutely positively have to. Hell I'll even move back in with my mum before I share housing with other people again!. |

Oh and ...
I once lived with a guy who sms'd a mutual friend in Melbourne to log into MSN and tell me to turn down my music becuase at 9.30 at night I played the Benny Hill theme twice ... Not sure why he couldn't sms me, or even yell out ... or come down stairs ... besides who doesn't love the Benny Hill theme! ps. they weren't working and didn't have to be anywhere the next day particularly early. I once lived with a guy who played DDR in the room above my bedroom and a shared PC room in an old wooden house. BOOM BOOM TAP BOOM DOOF ps. I am not perfect housemate by any stretch of the imagination, I am simply relating the humourous and the weird and as such I can throw stones from my glass house. |

A good (male) mate of mine decided it would be cool to move into a share house with 4 other girls. He ended up shagging one of them and the place exploded due to the drama overload. It was fun to visit though

i lived on the floor of my best mates place, twas all good, i paid my rent and did my share, and the other housemates didnt mind at all. but when another mutual friend moved in due to one of the others moving out, suddenly i was the outsider...
then moved into a place with my now girlfriend, and two of my mates that were already living there. one of them was a dude, best housemate to live with. did all his share, would help out when needed, and generally was really cool. The other guy, who had been there a couple of years, treated it like his house and i never really got to feel like it was my place :/ That and he tried s*** with my now girlfriend, (who was my best mate at the time) andn i lost a f***load of respect for that. When he realised he couldnt get any from her, he moved onto my next chick friend, and tried his luck there. :/ Finally moved out with my girlfriend and had a couple of people living with us that were essentially our best mates. case here of living with peopel that dont share your interests/living styles... got them to move out and now we only share our house with a cat. my general opinion, is that you learn a lot about peopel by living with them. some people may be cool on the surface, but spend a little more than just 'hanging out' time and you may see them in a different light. Trial and error really. |

Too many stories to tell but a few highlights include:
Mufferless postie bike being revved hard at 2am (drunk) Loungeroom wrestling resulting in two broken windows (one of which had someone's head put through it) More wrestling involving mock strangulation with telephone cord and tea towels Simultaneous vommiting of all present after beer bong shenanigans Rooftop drinking sessions (on a peaked tin roof) Rooftop couch installation Brake burn comps in the carport 2am raid by cops looking for someone who robbed the 7-11 up the road Weed deals with next door neighbours even though their mum was a psycho who regularly called the cops on her own kids Lawns eventually requiring professional equipment to maintain (victa could not cut it) Neighbours brand new potplants being used as a weapon in drunken brawl At any given time loungeroom filled with strangers who just dropped round for a fifty Being greeted at 3am by a huge black dude covered in blood who turned out to be a mate of a mate, and who had decided that going the smack up and down King George Square would be a good nightcap Escapee crayfish turning up months later dead in a distant part of the house Flatmates picking used cigarette butts that belonged to other people out of the makeshift ashtray at the back door to use as spin Fighting over why just because we have Foxtel we have to watch Premier League 24 hours a day The look on the plumber's face when he worked out that the blockage in the other flatmates shower consisted largely of hair and the most personal of male body fluids Finding out that your flatmate and his skank ho had sex in your bathroom-due to other bathroom being clogged (see above) Coming home to find your flatmates dog has pissed in the hallway, and then waiting a few days until he cleans it up Coming home and firing up MSN only to find that your flatmate has helped themselves to log in and use your pride and joy without telling you Having sex with your new female flatmate who is moving to Japan, only to find that a couple of days later she hooks up with a guy that she "didn't know liked her" and has him stay over Inheriting your ex-flatmates piece of crap Holden as a smashing new addition to the backyard Panicing as your flatemates assure you that this will be their "last chop" 15 minutes before your Mum or Dad is due to arrive Having every single utility in your name and having to squeeze blood from a stone to get even half the money Having your deads*** hippy flatmate bring all his shopping home in a trolley wheeled from the supermarket and then park it out the front of the house Giving up the idea that one day he might take the trolley back, only to find your current flatemates now use it as a drunken fun bus Having one of your flatmates use the lounge as a permanent sleeping arrangement, even though a perfectly good bed was available Having everything you own thrashed within an inch of its life because "hey, we didn't pay for it" Good times. |

The lesson here is never move in with friends, they tend to take liberties that aquaintances won't.
I lived with 4 fellas at yerronga 2 years back and it was great due to us all having a common ground of interests but being independant enough of each other to be able to do our own thing. But when I moved in with an old friend from highschool after that things weren't so good as his evil bitch girfriend who was a f***ing psycho was automatically allowed to leech off "our" lifesblood ... meaning I had to support the bitch that I would rather have hit over the head with a shovel till I finally managed to get out of there... f***ing nightmare :/ |

*nod at Captivate* With a relationship you know the boundaries, when it's f*** buddies it's far too easy to screw something up without realising... and boundaries are important when it comes to the people you live with! Also have you read He Died With a Felafel In His Hand? Ultimate share house story book.
Incredible: A lot of those sound awfully familiar |

felafel rocks.
hey, mine was a best mates scenario, then a f***buddy, then moved very quickly onto relationship :) it kinda helepd that we shared money and everything else back when we were friends too, so there was nothing to worry about. friends of ours have been going out almost as long as we have, been living together for about a year, and still split bills and rent and stuff :( |

OMG I forgot the best one...
Flatmate had this gf whom we had never met and asked if she could come and stay for a weekend, then a week and then he just stopped asking assuming she could just rock in whenever. She was there for weeks at a time, which wouldn't be such a big deal except for: 1. She was Irish, literally about 40, very conservative, and did not fit in to the house at all. He was like 23. 2. She didn't talk to us, preferring the sanctuary of his room, but only while the other flatmates were home. 3. She insisted on watching CNN 24 hours a day. This was around the time of 9/11, so she was glued to news. 4. When the neighbours next door had a party she stormed up and down the fence screaming "TURN IT DOWN", even though she was just visiting for the weekend. 5. She never once offered to pay rent, bills or jack s***, even though she worked as an accountant and earning phat loot. 6. Basically it was a war of attrition. Eventually he asked if she could move in, we said no, they moved out. Win-win. 7. Oh yeh, and did I mention she was creepy. Like we were playing records in my room, and she sat curled up in a ball in the hallway, because the music was too loud. Yeh. |

LMAO @ Increadible. Some great situational humour there, and some scaring mental imagery. My issue alot of the time has been privacy. Old Queenslanders with thin walls and open grates above the doors... |

My issue alot of the time has been privacy. Old Queenslanders with thin walls and open grates above the doors... My house only has a few rules. One rule is: not matter what you hear during the night you just have to assume it never happened in the morning. I feel for my housemate... but then again maybe it will motivate him to get off his arse and find a girl. I'm not so sure about the "don't live with friends" deal. I live with a good friend of mine and we get along very well. |

I don't mind if people make a bit of 'intimate' noise on occasion, but when it's all the time and they don't even try and be quiet/cover it with noise it's a bit much.
One of my current flatmates got a bit ridiculous when she first started dating her current boy, you couldn't watch tv, use the computer or anything because they were that loud and energetic. It got to the point that it was interfering with the sleep patterns of our other flatmate. The worst of it was whenever we said anything she thought we were just joking :| Still... better now. |

God, most of my stories are tame in comparison. Sharing experiences have been mixed, but the life lessons and diplomacy skills are invaluable.
In other news, my gf's cousins female best friend (go three degrees) and her female friend were sharing a house on the southside. They filled the room with a random guy, and he was fine for a few months. Then one night, he decided he needed some extra money, so snuck into their rooms and slit their throats during the night. last edited by N-Dude at 20:31:50 24/Nov/05 |

One of my ex room mates was a lesbian...(yes Rev you know who) and use to have her girlfriend over every weekend, then it was 4 days a week, then she practically lived there....and guess who was having to pay the bills...not her!
It actually pissed me off when they would start to go for it on my bed while i was in the room, although my brother and his friends thought i was the luckiest guy in the world. I also hated comming home from work and finding people asleep in the living room (place was in my name and all the furniture was mine). Now i own my own place and will never go back to having a room mate. |

Its all fun and games when everyone is studying, working in hospitality, got little responsibility and alot more time on their hands. Then someone starts working full time, has alot more responsibility and alot less time on their hands and thats when things start being alot less fun and alot more 'just not working'.

actually i completely forgot our last housemate
after our two friends moved out, we got my girlfriends ex-boyfriend ( of like 4 years ago) to move in. we were both working part time and studying (not really) and thus going out every weekend, he was working fulltime for EY and hardly ever came out. it wasnt a bad or divided house, it was just apparent that tehre was a difference. his gf stayed over quite often, but it just never really felt like a full proper sharehouse, then he moved out into his own apartment which he bought, and both myself and my girlfriend started working fulltime. so it wouldve been cool if all of us were working fulltime and comjing home, cracking open a beer, and enjoying the evening that way, but hey, you dont get what you want all the time :p |

I've shared with a mate I went to school with the first time (2 dudes in house)
Good: -Both worked in IT and had lots of toys to share, xbox, ps2, many linux servers, optus cable, cable tv -Used to cook me dinner and taught me how to cook (I had to do the washing up, not really a fair deal, but hey, it worked) -Would always have a beer with me after work (or steal one of mine if he had none) -Shared bills and shopping -Looked after me (came with the years of friendship) Bad: -Saw too much of each other -He'd call me if I wasn't home for dinner, LOL! (so yeah, good flatmate) My next flatmate was cool, he was a mate as well, but we grew apart over time and he moved to Sydney a while back. I've been living by myself for about a year and it's been awesome! But lately it kinda sucks... I'm thinking I might move back home for a while when my lease runs out. It's expensive and can get pretty lonely. I often wonder how long it would be before someone found me if I had a heart attack. :/ (should I try and jack off for the 6th time? sure, it'd be fun, but what if I have a heart attack?) Imagine that, getting found, half naked in the front of the computer, porn clip still looping.. I'll probably share with someone I know when I move again. Don't agree with living with strangers at all, I would never do it. |

The good bits sound like me and operator when we used to live together! Then those f***ing bitches ruined our lives and I f***ed the dream all up by moving to sydney. One of my favourite times was the impromtue Triple J hottest 100 party of '03. Everyone we knew showed up to used the pool as it was the hottest day on record. We all drank piss and jumped outta the massive mango tree. Post vids please spook.
http://flatmates.com.au/ Its a good site. I've had 2 flattys off here and other mates that have used this too. All been good experiences, still really good mates with one of the ex-flattys we found off here. Didnt hurt that after I moved in he won 12 cartons of coopers! haha alledgedly a years supply but we did it in a bit over 2 months ;) |

If you're making anything more sophisticated than baked beans on toast it takes more time and effort to cook than to clean up.
Oh yeh, and massive ups to this thread. Got some good laughs off the stories :) last edited by Hogfather at 16:58:25 25/Nov/05 |

It never turned out fair for me because a) we didn't have a dishwasher, b) I'd end up washing up not only all the stuff he used to make dinner, but everything else too, and c) it's easier to make mess than clean it up.
Not to mention cooking is fun and relaxing, washing up is exhausting and s***. And I'd help with the cooking too.. |

I got some stories of a sharehouse.
The share house balanced. It involves a chair coverd in plastic. A flatmate who played copious amounts of EQ. Time sharing on the single internet enabled computer. Across 24 hours. Everyone had a really, really low interpretation of clean. No one was game for their parents to vistit. Well it happend once, and he ate all the pizza.. An attempt to grill a yam, as it was the only food available. Some hardcore chemicals for an attempted ovan clean. Didnt make a dint. Grilled rat, and moving rice... How high can you stack a bin before it falls over. The landlord fixed a leak in the wall. The hole he made in the wall is probably still there. Puppies, lots of em. Giving the naighbourhood crack addicts lifts to wherever they needed to go, so they didnt steal any of our s***. Try saying no to a some heavy addicts while living in a house that cant be locked.. Tekken, lots of it. No moterbikes in the hallway though, thats special. |

I just moved out of my place in North Sydney because my ex-flatmate was a f***ing psycho lunatic.
http://unix.org.au/~bj/sydney/christmas party/Image028.jpg This is the result of ONE of his tantrums, he threw a lighter at his girlfriend who lived with us, but NEVER spoke to anyone but himself. (this became wierd after about 24hrs living there and having not spoken to her. it was even more tense after living there for 3 months and still not having spoken to her. I moved out and I now have my own 1 bedroom apartment in the CBD p.s. the picture is shrapnel from where he threw the (jet) lighter at her and missed, resulting in an explosion/shrapnel He has also been known to have thrown at least one 19" monitor and 1 keyboard at her. last edited by brett at 09:54:26 26/Nov/05 |

i have heaps but my most memorable was this one.
one of my flatmates sisters was staying with us and she had a ~9month old baby. She put the baby in a pram and had it next to the bed in the spare room next to the bathroom. long story short, a few of us got home completely tanked, one went into the toilet to take a piss and I took a wrong turn and mistook the sleeping baby in the pram for the toilet and proceeded to piss all over it, much to the horror (followed by extreme anger) of the mother of the child in question. I'm one of those people that when i get drunk i get up and take a piss in the wardrobe or something for no apparent reason. Everything just looks like a urinal! |

we had another one where our flatmate became a recluse and started listening to TOny Robbins and crazy s*** like that. One day we watched k-pax abd decided 'Prote' would be a good name for said flatmate as they shared some weird similarities. One day he came home on his pushbike from uni and we set the hose on him (prote doesn't like water) and he turned around and rode off.
never heard from him again and haven't seen him since. That was pretty random, even left all his belongings including a computer and a TV. We rang his mum and she said he was fine and living with his girlfriend, so we just moved on and got a new roomate! |

His mum used to make him pee in plastic shopping bags, I think the problem must have started then.
Meet the people before you move in, look around in the house, dont look at the size of rooms and whatnot, look at the state of the kitchen sink, the stove, go to the main toilet, stains on the floor are good indicaters. The upkeep of the lawn, and the attitudes of the people. These should give you a good idea of how compatible the house is to you. If you can, check out the the contents of fridge(s) and cupboards. Dont move into a place where the clean factor is far above, or far below yours. If you dont get along with the people almost instantly chances are you wont like it there. It isnt a scary thing. Well it can be if you have poor judgement. |

I've been living by myself for 3 weeks now and I have to say that it's been the best 3 weeks of my adult life (living arrangments wise).
You simply don't realise how great it is to live by yourself until you've done it. (It only sunk in once I'd thought about it after 2 weeks here) You wake up and everything is as you left it. The kitchen/bathroom/lounge/bedroom is as clean as it was last time you saw it. You can come home at anytime and know exactly where everything is, why it's there and that there wont be any strangers in your house. Your (mild) paranoia is put to rest because no one else has a key to your whole unit, let alone your room/etc Food doesn't get eaten, you dont have to chase any money for bills, your toiletries are your toiletries. It simply rocks so hard that I wouldn't ever consider sharing again. |

My share house is ok. It's the only share house I've ever lived in. The setup is a bit different to most. The landlord lives upstairs (it's a two story house) and he rents out the 3 bedrooms downstairs. We have our own kitchen, bathroom, loungeroom and gym downstairs). The bedroom doors all have locks, and my door is always locked when I'm out (and sometimes when I'm in :P). We all have our own individual rent bill, the landlord pays for broadband and we split the power bill so there's no money hassles.
The people are OK too. The landlord is a nice guy. I get along well with the other two guys who live downstairs. We're all gamers (unfortunately, one's a nintendo fanboy) and we all have our own PC's so we get along well. We all have some similar intrests, but some very different ones too. Having people over isn't really a problem, cos we get along with each other's friends. The cleanliness thing is wierd though. One of my flatmates is a neat freak with OCD and the other is a bit messy. That leaves me right in the middle. I don't mind untidyness (Cd's lying around, controllers strewn accross the floor) but I can't stand germy filth (wet towels lying in a heap in the laundry, food scraps etc). THe only real problem we have is the net badwidth. We have 60gb a month, but it ALWAYS gets used up and nobody owns up to it. It's kinda annoying. All up, share houses are great if you get the right people IMO. I got lucky. |

Oh believe me Gimpy, if I could I would do it in a second.
I don't really have any crazy stories from my sharehouse. Except for the time when my flatmate asked if I wanted to play some Starcraft with him, and I said I would love to, right after I "dropped some friends off at the pool". He then asked if he could come along for the ride... |

I had a housemate who had a pot induced psychotic episode. I have managed to forget most of the best parts of insane man, but I do remember a couple of parts. He would have two way conversations with himself, but we could only hear one part of it. Occasionally he would change characters so we would hear different parts of the same conversation. He also went on a 9 day bender which included him at a slayers party and almost killing some girl. The only reason why he didn't is because he didn't want to get up (his words).
I also had a housemate (a different one, but he supplied the pot to the first one) who had delusions including, but not limited to: Being the savour of man kind. Well, being the lackey to the savour of mankind. Being abducted by aliens. All of our daily shopping would be online as of the year 2001. The Roman Catholic church are in fact heathens. The Australian government is disarming Australians to make it easier for invasion. The end of the world was coming, and he had planted weapon caches all over Brisbane. The Martin Bryant shooting was actually a government conspiracy to disarm Australians. Martin Bryant was a patsy, and the real shooter is a Cyberninja ... or something along those lines. (although the book he made me read was pretty interesting) The delusional guys girlfriends were also wierd. Once on valentines day delusional guy and his girlfriend had a fight, which isn't that abnormal. What was abnormal was when she broke up with him and he stated "but we share true love!" and she replied with "True love? True Love? I'll show you true love." And immediately got the valentines gift he bought for her (a small cute teddy bear), went out onto the road, poured lamp oil on it and set it on fire. Then there was the girl who ran Australia's largest adult diaper store. Her Mother used to make the diapers herself. She (not the mother) also hosted her nude website though us, while she was doing delusional guy. Her ex-boyfriend said that if her site went off he would do a gay site. Oh, Xyzzy just reminded me of her 3 year old son who was borderline gay. He would wear his mothers high heeled shoes (he would search the house for some to wear) and fastidiously clean up after people. Delusional guy also had two kids; a boy, and a girl. The boy was deaf, but delusional guy didn't want to admit it, so instead of learning sign, delusional guy just screamed at him. The girl was seriously strange as well, she would just appear out of no where looking at you, like some sort of weird horror movie. Think those creepy scenes from children of the corn, and you might understand the creepiness of it. Another roomate mate (although short term) was one guy we referred to as "the bongfu man". He also had a pot induced psychotic episode, but not while we shared a house. He would do fantastic things like flopping out his balls and giving them a good scratch. I don't mean in the privacy of his own pants ... I mean out in the open of the lounge room, while brushing his teeth and going "ohhh yeah". The last guy, we didn't live with, but f*** he came over enough that I feel we can include him here. We all called him Charles or Chucky, but that wasn't his real name (so I can use it here). Charles was a freak, but the only person on this list who didn't become a freak by smoking pot. Charles was retarded at birth. Charles had a fascination with guns, swords, guns, axes, guns, maces, guns, knives, guns, daggers, guns, tasters, guns, Americans, guns, Americans with guns, cowboys, guns, cowboys with guns, bikers, guns, bikers with guns, bikes, guns, bikes with gun, chains, guns, whips, and of course Americans cowboy bikers with guns (and chains). That wasn't what made Charles a freak though. Charles loved to play games, only he couldn't. Charles could only do one thing at a time, so in quake he could either look around, move, shoot or work out what team you were on. While he was doing this one thing his other hand would be squirming uncontrollably. What made this entertaining was when he had to change tasks; his squirming hand would stop squirming and his other hand would take over squirming duties. We wanted to take him to QGL and charge a dollar per visit, we would have made a fortune. (Come see the quake freak!) That wasn't what made Charles a freak though. Charles used to steal all sorts of things. Mostly he would steal money, occasionally he would steal items. Once however, he stole an enema kit that someone needed to clear up constipation. I don’t know why he stole, but it sure freaked us all out. That wasn't what made Charles a freak though. Once, while watching a roommate play fallout Charles sneezed a big snotty down his leg. I don’t mean like a thin strand of snot either, I mean 2 cm wide by 6cm long, his entire nasal cavity of snot right on my friends leg. Another time while that same roommate was playing fallout 2, Charles sneezed an equally huge snotty right on his head. That didn't make him a freak either. Sometimes while watching some intense gaming, Charles would touch himself. I don't mean like picking his nose, or scratching his head. I mean he would rub his nipples. Once in the middle of a Quake2 RA Charles was seen lowering his hands down his pants... THAT'S RIGHT, HE WENT THERE! What made it better was that he was right behind khel when he did it. |

my GF at the time used to have recurring dreams of Charles going postal and killing us all in horrific ways. She was actually convinced it was quite likely and used to plead with me to be nicer to him. I used to laugh and give s*** to him even more but now with hindsight I realise it was actually quite a likely scenario.

I'd like to add to typo's story of Delusional Man.
Delusional Man had what he said was a bad case of claustrophobia... Initially we let it pass because he had the s***tiest smallest room in the house(slightly too small to be the server room size) but when i moved in with him again(don't ask) he had the master bedroom and still was feeling "claustrophobic". This wouldn't be so bad except he had a sliding scale for how much clothing he'd wear while sleeping. At one stage it slid back up the scale a little when he sleepily answered the door naked to find his Jehovah's Witness friends with their pre/early-teen daughter in tow. That little girl got more introduction to all the evils of the world than she ever wanted. His male child(the deaf one) was an avid gamer. With his awesome tactical background of Spiro he would give me advice on such things as Commando's 2 ("Shine your flashlight on that guy"). It didn't help. It was however fun to slap him senseless in the Mech4 demo. We also lived with someone who i'll call "Hairy Man" (he was seriously hairy). Himself he was a fairly good housemate though he had a tendency to do the dishes thing that obes was talking about but with cups. He did however have 2 cats. One was a senile old grumpy fat cat. It was so senile that it'd sometimes get confused while you were baiting it with string and it was so fat that when it tried to sit in a box(a cats favourite thing to do) more often than not he broke it. In the house that Adam was living in as well, there was this gorgeous cat next door that loved us(we ate meat and had left overs every now and then... it never ate better). When Hairy Man moved in there was obviously going to be a shift in the feline dynamics in the area. It started out that the younger of HM's cats ignored the next door cat and the older one would go out of it's way to attack the other one. It was even to the stage of at one point the younger and the next door cat teamed up to attack passing school girls(one being the "i'm so cute pat me" bait and the other one perched in the trees) This changed one fateful night when the young cat was in "That time of the month". Yes.. the younger one went out and got pregnant and ever after the neighbour cat wouldn't have a bar of her. It was very Jerry Springer. |

i have heaps but my most memorable was this one. Just out of academic interest... Were you drinking bundy rum or is it any alcohol that makes things like like a urinal. Know someone who has much the same problem. Of the stories i've heard he's done peeing in bathroom sinks and crapping in hallways. |

Know someone who has much the same problem. Of the stories i've heard he's done peeing in bathroom sinks and crapping in hallways. Haha, I thought of the same person when I read spidz's story. Hes added pissing on mattresses and pissing in lounge rooms to his list now as well though. Funny thing is hes really good at hiding the evidence, never found any sign of the s*** in the hallway the next day and never found any sign of the piss in the lounge room the next day, but both events were eye-witnessed. And yes, Charles was indeed a freak of nature :( The whole tshirt-that-looks-like-a-cockrag look didn't do anything to help matters either. He made me uninstall Carmageddon off my computer, because whenever I wasn't using it he'd jump on my computer (with or without actually asking me first) and start playing Carmageddon, which would excite him so much he would inevitably start touching himself. |

I don't think it was just because of the games if you know what I mean.

I have been a stranger getting caught going at it in someones living room.
That wins on the awkward scale. |

Apparently Charles has in fact had a violent psychotic episode after stalking a bunch of girls. Maybe we should be glad that house broke up when it did ;p |

rofl viper! welcome to share house living.
i snowboarded down the stairs and hit the radiator. water is now leaking.. instead of calling a plumber, ive just moved the carpet so it drains throught the floor boards (somewhere). i reckon i can ignore this for the next 12months. |

Hahaha yeah man, our bathroom leaks, but it just drains into the downstairs flat, which is full of polish people, f***ed if im doing anything about it. The bastards turned our deck downstairs into a shanty town.
It really does look like 1940s poland. |

That was the best thing I've ever read. That kicked so much ass it's not funny. It would make for a kickass short movie too! |
