Goto the doctor and they have these water guns that clean em out.

Also you can buy these asian candle things from the shops, light them on fire, put them in your ear and it cleans em out - pretty cool s***.

Alternatively goto the chemist and see what else they got going.

Personally I like getting it done at the doctor cause they do it good and proper.

Edit: thought you meant they were blocked with s*** cause you dont clean them regularly. oh well.

Close notrils and mouth, perform valsalva manouvre. That will open up your eustachian tubes and equilibrate the pressure in your ear with atmospheric pressure.

Pinch your nose shut and close your mouth. Then try and exhale really hard. It hurts but it usually unblocks them.

It works on planes at least.

EDIT: f***, beaten by dr levels.

If it persists anything longer than a few days, go see a doctor.

Point a gun in to one ear and pull the trigger with any luck a single bullet will clean both ears.

Got the same thing, both ears were infected and have stayed blocked for over a year now. Still on the waiting list tho, can't afford to go private to fix it, eventhough public is being a bitch.

Best bet is go to the docs, you'll have an ear infection... they'll give ya anti-biotics and tell you to do some crap, etc. It usually works, if not they just prescribe some stronger medication till the point they refer you to a specialist.

Colds usually bring on ear infections, its nothing major unless there is excessive pain. I wouldn't be too worried.

If a valsalva doesn't resolve it, you'll probably find that some ear drops, like sofradex or similar, acompanied by some nasonex and some exercise will fix your s*** up..

The ent are all connected, so you'll have to be nice to all

teapsoon of Vicks vapour rub in a bowl of boiling water. Towel over head and lean over the bowl and slowly breathe the vapour in thru the nose and out thru the mouth. (Tip - keep your eyes closed)

Blows the s*** out of estacian tubes like hell, and helps dry them up.

I bought this spray thing (Audiclean) that was on a t.v. ad. Was about $30ish buckeroos and works quite well!

Other than that, just pop into the doctor and have him use that water thingy, I had that done 6 or so months ago, f***ing weird feeling :S
