Some friends and I make movies for fun, and we did one bit with subtitles. Currently I have a .avi and a .sub file my friend made. I have a DVD burner, and I was just wondering what software I should use and how I would go about making a dvd with the subs. Any ideas? I don't really care if the subs are embeded into the video or not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. *This post is not about video piracy. Piracy is a crime and robs hard working movie makers of their money.* ^warning to cover my ass XD |

Nero vision express is pretty good. I burn all our home movies to DVD with it and you can put in titles anywhere in the flim line in a variety of styles, fonts and colours. i.e. scrolling, fades, ect...it might be a bit tricky timing the subs to be in time with the action as you have to determine the length of time each title is displayed ect..but with some practise you could do it.

I have a .sub file already timed for the .avi, is there any way to just use those files to make a DVD? Power Producer Gold can't do it :(
