After reading the dinner thread and remembering owning Kehl's at the last qgl skirmish i organised, im calling for expressions of intrest for qgl skirmish playoffs round 2.

Last time we had something like 30 guys going crazy at each other and realising that real world shooting and running is much harder than BF, Quake, and cs.

Holidays are a week or so away (depending on your uni), which is way to close so im thinking maybe one saturday or sunday morning in a few weeks? Who would be in?

I would be in, providing you can give me some idea of cost 1 week prior to the date.

100 rounds will go in your first field because you pop them off really fast, as you play more you place your shots and dont waste so much ammo. Expect to spend close to 100 bucks to get an experience and not worry about ammo etc

I havnet been to samford for years.. Do they have decent guns there now?

yeah pump action markers are a thing of the past, when qgl went a year or so ago they had semi auto markers for everyone, full auto avaiable but a f***ing waste of ammo

Went there a month or two ago for a mate's bucks. I don't think you can get a couple of bucks off for not using camos anymore at least when we went we didn't.

Um, I got the $67 pack and ended up buying extra paint so I'd probably go for the $100 one and not bother about getting any more. You can buy paint out on the field (they just chuck it on your tab) so that's no real bother and you could go halves with a mate for some extra paint if you run out.

I'm probably going to be a no-go for this time as I've got plenty of uni to get done before November. If we had one during then I'd be keen to go - Samford skirmish rules.

Thats amazing, I went to this paintball place on the western freeway, And I spent about 120 bucks and got half that ammo and a crap gun that kept screwing up on me. Samford definently sounds good.

samford uses real bombs too, in the first game last time there was a capture the flag where you pulled a chord and it set off a flashbang/smoke bomb. They are the best fields around.

Hmmm... if I have the money I'll definetely come... last time was awesome :) The CTF over the water with the 2 bridges was intense, got hit in the neck from like 5m away, pain++
