A while back there was a gaming survey put out by UQ - the incentive to do this survey was the promise of free movie tickets, well that time has come!

I just got this email late this afternoon.

If you are receiving this email, you completed a survey designed by
researchers at the University of Queensland that was advertised on
www.ausgamers.com.au a couple of months ago. The survey was designed to
examine the more positive aspects associated with gaming and some aspects
that might be less desirable. We are emailing you now to ask that you
complete a follow-up survey that should take about 10-15 minutes to complete.

I used to do psyc at UQ. I wouldn't want anyone f***ing with my results for a free tickets so I won't do it to them.

Yeah i did it yeterday, I loved the way they continued to repeat questions in different ways, to try and catch us lieing... its like they think were in denial or something.

Tiny, thats what psyc reports do.... repeat the questions so if you try and lie it is obvious

I'm guessing they repeat similar questions with variations to get a better average idea on what you think, not to detect a lie.

Got mine today too. I was under the impression it was a double pass, but I guess I was mistaken. So I now have to buy the ticket anyway.

Not a huge problem, as the missus and I have scored 5 free movie tickets in the past 3 days.

I got my free movie ticket yesterday in the mail. Score!
