Someone was telling me that she was convicted not for bringing drugs into the country, but rather for then trying to get them through customs. The court accepted the fact that the drugs may not have been hers.

About the most intelligent thing said in this thread. In view of the fact that she actually had her case re-opened, which is almost unprecidented in Indo courts (according to an interview with the Indonesian Attorney General), I would say its more likely to be a bad thing for Schappelle, not a good thing, in that its most likely been done in the favour of the prosecution, not the defence.
