heh, for a second there, I thought that read "rave beards"

I then imagined a bunch of bikers with their beards glowing in the dark afire from sitting/passing out too close to the fire

UV reactive and luminescent (glow in the dark) acrylics are different chemicals I'm afraid.

For plain plastic pony beads I suggest buying a big pack from Lincraft and then sorting by colour, makes it a lot cheaper. Beads and Beads in the Myer Centre is about the most expensive place I've ever seen... there's a really good bead warehouse in West End but sod me if I can remember the address.

Best prices online I've found have been at http://craft.ontheinternet.com.au/index.asp?page=/data/showcode.asp?code=M281 (that's the alphabet beads but large plastic and shaped ones are also on that site at decent prices if you browse)
