it really is insane

he pracs like 8 hours a day every day. when they dropped quake3 as the main game at cpl, and took on unreal 2k4, he just picked up where he left off, and got #1 in the world at that game. makes you wonder.

guvna: yeh cpl-4 in 2001 :P~ i think that was the last world-class quakeworld comp held... & our man harlsom somehow beat reload in the au qualifier n then went over n smashed everyone he played.

i was at that CPL-P lan in melbourne aswell that Fatal1ty played in.... was really cool watching him play, i've never seen any of his videos floating around though. Anyone have any links to them?

I thought reload didn't play in the au qualifier, as far as I know harlsom has never beaten reload in a competition (maybe one game here or there). Also didn't no top euro players go to the tournament(i.e anyone who is good at the game)?

yea stez is right.. 2001 was too late to be holding QW comps specially in Aus.. everyone had already gone to Q3 / CS. I wasn't at CPL-p.. just barracking from the sidelines :P

and yea fatality would have to be one of the most famous gamers around.. not only does he have a motherboard named after him, but he actually has his own SONG. if i get time, ill upload it to my webspace and post back here. its pretty bad.. but still freaky that someone has their own song :P also if your after a video, there is a good 'documentry' style video showing his campaign for an event last year i think.. lots of real life footage as well as gaming stuff.
